About Us:

ClassTutor is a socially driven organisation, created to provide education to students who lacked access during the COVID lockdowns. Our mission is to make high-quality education available to those who need it most. Since our inception, we have experienced significant growth, now comprising a team of over 150 tutors and running 300+ classes each week.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for enthusiastic, socially conscious individuals who are eager to make a difference in students' lives. As a Tutor Success Officer at ClassTutor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our educational programmes and fostering strong relationships with our tutors. This role involves overseeing lesson quality, delivering tutor training and coaching ultimately driving student success.

Responsibilities:

Observe lessons and assess tutor performance, offering constructive feedback to enhance teaching quality. Oversee the onboarding and training of new tutors to ensure they are fully prepared for their roles. Ensure tutors cover the required material and address any specific student requests. Act as the primary contact for tutors, addressing their academic and teaching queries and providing prompt support. Provide ongoing coaching and support to tutors, helping them refine their lesson delivery and teaching strategies. Organise general and subject-specific meetings for tutor training and development. Prepare and present weekly reports to the management team on progress, achievements, and upcoming plans.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience working within the educational field - as a tutor or teacher previously would be ideal.

Thorough understanding of the UK Curriculum

, ensuring alignment with educational standards. This includes all the way from primary school to A levels. Knowledge of more niche subjects, such as 11+, would also be beneficial.

Ability to manage your own schedule

, set targets, and be accountable for remote work.

Comfortable working independently in a remote setting

, while providing regular updates to the team.
