Tutor to Support a University Student currently on a Foundation Course but planning to study Philosophy with additional duties in schools and/or homes in the Cambridgeshire area.
22,597 to 25,450 plus supplements pro-rata
This post can be for either 4 or 5 days per week.
The hours are: Monday 11 am to 6 pm, Tuesday 9am to 4 pm, Wednesday 9 and to 4 pm, Friday 11 am to 6 pm. Thursday is optional and would be 9 am to 4 pm.
The university student has cerebral palsy and relies on AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) for communication and learning.
Training in AAC will be provided and a degree in a relevant subject area would be preferred.
Our other students have a range of disabilities and learning difficulties from reception to post 16.
We require a tutor who will be able to support the university student in lectures and when writing assignments. Once training is complete this would be on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays at Anglia Ruskin University. The other students you would be working with are in a resource based secondary school near Cambridge and/or with students in home education or schools that we are yet to commence working with.
