We're now looking for a passionate and reliable tutor to join our friendly team!

The Role

We are currently hiring for a tutor based in

Warlingham

or surrounding areas (e.g., Whyteleafe, Purley or Caterham, etc.)

to support a

Year 6 s

tudent with their

English and maths

.

Pay:

20 per hour

Location:

CR6 (student's home)

Commitment:

1 hour per week
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a positive difference through one-to-one tuition.

Essential Requirements

Please read carefully -- applicants

must

meet the following essential criteria:

Live within

30 minutes of CR6

(e.g.,

Warlingham,

Whyteleafe, Purley or Caterham,

etc.) Experience working with children or young people (teaching assistants, teachers, childcare practitioners, mentors or youth workers etc.) Available for 1 hour each week on

a weekday evening or on a Saturday at 11am

for the sessions.

Has SEN experience

as this child has dyslexia

Access to a

printer

-- while we provide most materials, tutors are occasionally expected to print resources Educated to

degree level

(desirable but not essential)*

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective 1:1 tutoring sessions in the student's home Build strong rapport and trust with the student Adapt your teaching approach to meet individual learning needs Track progress and tailor future sessions accordingly Inspire confidence and a love of learning in your student
