TUTOR - FULL-TIME, WEST MIDLANDS



As we aim to grow our team further, we are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, educational professional with great communication skills wanting to work across Birmingham, Black Country and Coventry as a classroom based/online tutor on our unique and innovative employability programmes. Our overall aim at Release Potential is to support learners to progress into employment and believe a learner is a learner until they do!

What you'll be doing:



Key responsibilities include (but not limited to)



You will be delivering motivational teaching sessions in both remote and classroom based settings You will be offering Information, Advice and Guidance to our learners You will have responsibility for Classroom Management ensuring the learner receives the best possible learning experience You are responsible for maintaining course files and all other related documents You will be completing and following schemes of work, lesson plans and other course related documentation You will organise your workload effectively ensuring delivery is within the given timescales

What you'll be able to demonstrate:



Skills and experience



You should be able to demonstrate the right qualifications, experience and personality to motivate and inspire learners You will ideally have secured a Diploma of Higher Education You should hold one/all of the following:
Award in Education and Training (AET)

Certificate in Education and Training (CET)

Diploma in Education and Training (DET)

You should ideally have a higher level qualification in IT or relevant experience You should have experience in delivering training provision that matches current industry digital skills along with high quality employability provision that supports and prepares learners to move closer to employment You should ideally hold a driving license
Please note that this job may include the possibility of travel which will necessitate working away from home for short periods of time.

Type of employment: Permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday.

Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and a probation period.
