Job Description

Beyond Education is an Ofsted regulated tutoring company in Urmston, Manchester. We tutor children aged 4-18 in English, maths, science and also for school entrance exams. Children are tutored both face-to-face in our centre.

We are looking for someone to join our team who has a passion for Education and mentoring. This position would be particularly beneficial for A level/college students, teaching assistants, trainee teaching assistants, trainee teachers, school leavers etc.

Expected/non negotiable;



Subject to enhanced DBS check Able to work independently using initiative as well as working as part of a team Maths and English GCSEs grade B/6 or above Passion for education and working with children Available to work at least one weekday evening 3:45-8pm. Possibly earlier starts and additional shifts available for the right candidate(s) Subject to references

Desired/preferred;



DBS check on update service Knowledge of the primary curriculum Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring or as a teaching assistant Experience of the entrance exams for grammar schools in Trafford

Successful candidates will;



Support the teaching of qualified teachers in small groups Invigilate 1:1 assessments Assist in ensuring the centre is clean and tidy and ready to teach Ensure all resources are ready for sessions

You will have appropriate training alongside qualified teachers and experienced tutors You will work with eager and well behaved children A positive and supportive team Contracted hours to suit (working hours negotiable for the right candidate) - mostly evening work 3:45-8pm but some possible daytime work for the right candidate.
