We are currently looking for bright and enthusiastic local people with high calibre to join our team to help our students with their homework and study sessions. You will teach one-to-one or small group of students in a constructive way. The goal is to help students achieve their highest possible achievement in school and keep them on track for success in school and here. You will be responsible for helping students with study skills, such as reading, writing, arithmetic, and science.
The ideal candidate must have A level from UK school with very good grades
- Must have a degree / studying from a UK University BA English or relevant.
The ideal candidate will have an ability to connect with children and inspire them to high levels of achievement.
Duties
Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to create personalised learning plans.
Develop engaging lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and motivation.
Communicate progress and challenges with parents or guardians regularly.
Adapt teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles, including those of students with special educational needs.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.
Skills
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate and engage students.
Ability to build rapport with students, fostering trust and a supportive atmosphere.
Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous but not mandatory.
Patience, empathy, and adaptability in addressing the unique needs of each student.
Strong organisational skills to manage lesson planning and student assessments efficiently.
