Overview:
We are looking for a Tutor/Programme Lead with teaching qualifications and experience who is motivated, organised, an excellent communicator with a great sense of humour. Experience within the field of SEN would be advantageous as would any other relevant experience to expand the learners' journey within education.

Job purpose:
Plan, deliver and assess learning
Support the collection of funding paperwork
Complete and maintain learning records including Individual Learning Plans
Carry out quality information advice and guidance and complete start paperwork
Carry out timely reviews
Support the retention of learners on program
Help develop innovative training that meets the needs of learners
Ensure learners complex needs are considered within all aspects of delivery and planned for accordingly
Incorporation of English and Maths within your lessons after communicating with the subject specialist tutors.
Develop additional programmes for young people with complex needs
Support marketing of the programme
Delivery of a high quality education provision.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Deliver high quality teaching and learning which meets the requirements of learners with complex needs, funders and monitoring bodies needs such as OFSTED.
2. Work with the management team to continually develop our training offer, incorporating new ideas for courses based on the needs of learners, employers and funding bodies
3. Develop learning resources and materials including schemes of work, lesson plans and assessments appropriate to teaching learners with complex needs
4. Support the creation of publicity materials and good news stories through consultation with the management team.
5. Assess learning portfolios
6. Participate in Continuing Professional Development and keep a personal log as required
7. Keep necessary learning and organisational records for funders and lead bodies
8. Liaise effectively with colleagues, staff and external professionals
9. Monitor attendance and report on progress towards targets
10.Exercise confidentiality as and when necessary and comply with GDPR
11.Work within the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and any other current legislation
12.Supply or undertake an up to date DBS check
13.Ensure adult safeguarding knowledge is up to date and attend appropriate training where required
14.Undergo an induction period and adhere to the policies and procedures and ethos of the organisation
15.Undertake other duties appropriate to the post as required
