Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in specific subjects or skills. Assess students' learning styles and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Develop customised lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and individual student goals. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to discuss progress and address any concerns. Create a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement. Stay updated on educational practices and resources to enhance tutoring effectiveness.

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with a strong ability to educate students effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex concepts clearly. Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and understanding of their unique needs. Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable, enabling support for diverse learners. Strong organisational skills to manage lesson plans, schedules, and student records efficiently. A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
