CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed-term/Attachment - full time until 31 January 2027
DEPARTMENT: BBC Nations, TV Presentation, BBC NI Business and Operations
LOCATION: Broadcasting House, Belfast
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: 33,900 - 44,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We're looking for a creative, calm-under-pressure individual to join our TV Presentation team on a 12 month contract. TV Announcer Directors are the people who keep BBC One NI, BBC Two NI and BBC Parliament running smoothly on air, 365 days of the year.
You'll become one of the voices of the BBC, directing live output, writing and delivering engaging live continuity announcements, and making real-time decisions that keep our channels on track.
As part of your application, we'd like you to supply a recording of your voice to three scenarios featured on the application form. Please upload as a wav file to a Dropbox or equivalent and provide a link.
