Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team, to work between the hours of 5am and 1pm. The role involves providing high-quality support to individuals in the care home and ensuring their wellbeing, comfort, and independence. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of those in need.

Responsibilities

Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication reminders Supporting individuals in accordance with personalised care plans Providing companionship and emotional support to clients Assisting with meal preparation and light domestic tasks Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Ensuring a safe and clean environment for all clients

Requirements

Experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work shifts as required, including some weekends or evenings if necessary

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
