Overworld AMP is a pioneering, state-of-the-art Independent Alternative Provision, dedicated to serving the needs of neurodivergent young people aged 8-25. Many of our learners have experienced disrupted education, long absences, and negative associations with school. Our curriculum is built on a trauma-informed, 'stage not age' approach that prioritises engagement, trust, and belonging. We deliver education through highly flexible, personalised pathways that blend academic learning with holistic health, outdoor education, therapies, and creative enrichment. Our aim is to teach the learner, not just prepare them for exams, by embedding education through different occupational lenses and experiences. We work with the following awarding bodies:
AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group qualifications
Open Awards - functional mathematics and English exam centre
AIM Quality Mark short courses
ASDAN short courses
AQA Unit Award Scheme
The Role
We are seeking two creative, and compassionate Qualified Teachers (QTS) to join our Education Team. One must have English to A-level or higher and the other mathematics to A-level or higher. Direct and support the team in embedding learning across daily provision is the right way for the learner.
Ensure academic integrity and progression by guiding how learning is structured, recorded, and validated.
You will play a pivotal role, as part of a whole-team effort, in re-engaging learners with education at the point they are ready -- building trust, scaffolding appropriately, and ensuring that learning is meaningful, accessible, and aligned with each learner's stage of development and EHCP outcomes.
