Vacancy:

Two Resident Management to join successful Hospitality/Tourism business

Fancy a change of scenery? How about the tranquil Scottish countryside in Inveraray? We are looking for two resident managers to manage our Farmhouse Bedrooms and Cottages.

Background

The business is based in just outside the countryside, picturesque town of Inveraray. Lifestyle Excellent opportunity ideally for a couple or duo who are looking for a new adventure and would appreciate this rural setting.

We seek dynamic individual(s) with some previous experience in tourism/hospitality to help drive our the business forward.

Role Description

Operational Management of Killean Farmhouse and Cottages, would ideally suit a partnership of two people.

Operations Duties & Responsibilities

Cleaning/servicing of rooms and cottages, and routine maintenance activities between guest departures and arrivals

Be focal point for guests during their visit

Reply to guests on online forums/platforms

Oversee and co-ordinate work schedules for management and staff

Manage maintenance and repairs as and when required.

Conduct replenishment purchasing activities through preferred suppliers

Manage and ensure compliance to regulations/requirements.

Quality control and improvement on the existing offering/experience to maximise customer service and thereby increase repeat custom and overall occupancy levels;

Proactively seek to improve the offering and seek alternative opportunities to enhance the experience

Arrange cold buffet breakfast each morning

Gardening duties-grass cutting etc

Support actively plans to introduce limited dinner offering for residents only

Financial accountability

Control of staff costs -rota planning - Control of Energy and weekly meter reads -Control of food and liquor -Control of consumables.

Marketing

Support with digital content - Facebook, Instagram etc.

Person Specification

We seek a duo who are self-starters and seeking a lifestyle change. Positivity, enthusiasm and ambition are essential attributes as is self-discipline and self-motivation. Due to location driving licence and access to car is considered essential.

Remuneration

A combined salary (35K a fully furnished 2-bedroom dwelling on site is provided with running costs included such as utilities)
