We are a well-established law firm with offices in Dumfries, Thornhill and Sanquhar. We are looking to recruit a Typist/Legal Secretary. Core duties will involve answering phones, greeting clients, typing and diary keeping.
The posts will be based in our Sanquhar office and will involve working within an existing team.
Salary will be dependent on experience and a workplace pension is offered.
Administrative Duties:
Answering phone calls and transferring them as necessary
Greeting and welcoming clients
Scheduling appointments
Carrying out requests from management as needed
Answering emails and sorting mail
Dealing with petty cash
General office cash work
Financial Duties:
Billing
Recording payments made and received
Processing electronic bank transfers
Completing cheque requests
