We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tyre Technician to join our automotive service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tyres on a variety of vehicles. The position involves working with specialised tools and equipment, requiring physical strength and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Remove and replace tyres using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and punctures to determine necessary repairs or replacements Balance tyres to ensure smooth vehicle operation Perform wheel alignments when necessary Assist customers with tyre-related enquiries and recommend suitable solutions Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment used in tyre servicing Assist with inventory management of tyres and related parts

Qualifications

Prior experience of tyre fitting is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Good organisational skills with an eye for detail Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn vehicle movement procedures is essential
