Are you a skilled and experienced Tyre Fitter looking for a new opportunity?


Donnelly Group, Northern Ireland's largest independently owned vehicle retailer, is looking for a dedicated and hard-working individual to join our team.

About the role:




We need a friendly and professional individual to meet and greet our tyre customers and promote our full range of tyre brands and products. You will advise customers on their vehicle tyre needs whilst developing rapport with the customers.

About The Role



Job responsibilities:



As a Tyre Fitter, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks in line with legislation, including:

Removing, fitting, and balancing tyres on a variety of vehicles whilst following the standard process. Checking and adjusting tyre pressures, to the correct manufacturer specifications. Torquing wheels to the correct manufacturer specifications. Conducting wheel alignments and puncture repairs. Inspecting tyres for damage, wear, and defects, and advising customers on the best course of action. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Assisting with stock control, including conducting regular stock takes and ensuring accurate inventory levels. Receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring all items are correctly recorded. Maintaining records and completing all necessary paperwork accurately in a timely manner. Maintain your skill levels and attending relevant training when required. Following health and safety procedures at all times. Providing exceptional customer service.

What we are looking for:




The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter, with a minimum of one year's experience. Strong knowledge of tyre specifications and fitting techniques. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. The ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license. Strong communication skills.
This is not an exhaustive list of duties, and the post holder will be required to undertake any other reasonable duties discussed and directed by the line manager.

Required Criteria



A full driving licence as driving duties will be required This is a physically demanding role and candidates must be able to deal with manual and substantially heavy work Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter, with a minimum of one year's experience. Strong knowledge of tyre specifications and fitting techniques. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. The ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills.
