This is a full time position based at our depot in Wolverhampton.
The Tyre Fitter will be responsible for removal, fitting and installing industrial tyres for forklifts, skid steers, AWPs and tele-handlers. This role involves daily tasks related to tyre maintenance, installation and inspection.
Salary to be discussed and is varied based on experience.
Responsibilities
Perform tyre installations, rotations, and repairs using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
Conduct thorough inspections of tyres to assess wear and damage.
Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding tyre performance and maintenance.
Assist in heavy lifting tasks associated with tyre handling and vehicle servicing.
Ensure the work area is clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tyre technology.
Requirements
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in tyre fitting.
Experience and certification in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
A proactive attitude towards safety and adherence to company policies.
Experience in operating forklifts is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: 26,000.00-31,000.00 per year
