We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tyres on a variety of vehicles. Duties

Remove and replace tyres using appropriate hand tools and power tools Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and punctures, providing recommendations for repairs or replacements Balance tyres to ensure smooth vehicle operation Perform wheel alignments as required Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency Assist with the disposal of old tyres in accordance with environmental regulations Use heavy lifting techniques to handle tyres safely during installation and removal Conduct routine maintenance on tyre fitting equipment to ensure optimal operation

Experience

Previous experience in tyre fitting or automotive repair is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Mechanical knowledge is desirable to understand tyre systems and vehicle components Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic workshop equipment is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively is essential Good organisational skills and attention to detail are important for maintaining safety standards and quality workmanship
