Job Title: Part-Time Tire Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working with both hand and power tools. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and performance of vehicles by providing high-quality tire services.

Key Responsibilities

Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs on various types of vehicles. Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently and safely. Jack up cars and use axle stands safely in compliance with industry safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools are properly stored and maintained. Lift heavy tires and equipment (up to 30 kg) as required, adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Communicate effectively with customers, addressing their needs and providing expert advice.

Qualifications

Mechanical knowledge is preferred, though experience in tire fitting is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to jack up cars and use axle stands safely. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 30 kg). Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues. A valid driving license is required. Availability for part-time hours on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (with potential for additional days).
