We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tyre Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tyres on various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.

Duties

Perform tyre installations, rotations, and repairs on a variety of vehicles. Conduct thorough inspections of tyres to assess wear and damage. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the completion of tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns. Assist in maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment. Engage in heavy lifting as required during tyre handling and installation processes.

Requirements

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in tyre fitting or automotive repair preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to tyre maintenance. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. A proactive attitude towards maintaining equipment and workshop cleanliness. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
