Tire Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tyres on various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.

Duties

Perform tyre installations, rotations, and repairs efficiently and accurately. Conduct thorough inspections of tyres to identify wear, damage, or other issues. Utilise hand tools and power tools to complete tasks effectively. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist customers with their tyre-related inquiries and provide exceptional service. Carry out routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. Lift heavy tyres and equipment as required, adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

Proven tyre fitting knowledge is essential for success in this role. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in tyre maintenance is highly desirable. Previous experience in customer service will be an advantage, as you will interact with customers regularly. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely is required for handling tyres and equipment.
