Founded in 1883, Stockport County are one of the country's longest established football clubs. Initially formed as Heaton Norris Rovers, the Club officially became Stockport County in 1890 after the County Borough of Stockport and have been based at Edgeley Park since 1902.
The team currently competes in Sky Bet League One, the third tier of the English Football League, after winning the 2023-24 Sky Bet League Two title.
Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic
U15 Coach Analyst
to join our
Academy
team. The responsibility of this role is to provide effective, responsive and insightful analysis to support the coaching staff, providing insights on the team's on pitch performance and to assist the lead coach with the coaching sessions and on a matchday.
Key Responsibilities
To assist the delivery of the coaching sessions and games programme in the YDP age groups
Lead aspects of the coaching delivery within the YDP age groups.
Lead on the production and presentation of compelling, innovative and inspirational coaching analysis to the lead coach; providing a responsive, best-in-class service that makes effective use of all available resources.
Deliver analysis to the coaching staff, multi-disciplinary team and players
Work collaboratively to provide pre-match, opposition, live-match, post-match, set-play, training and player development video, data and other analysis is delivered to the men's first team;
Ensure the Head Coach, coaching staff, support staff and players are supported with the appropriate resources and analysis to aid their performance;
Research opposition to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential game strategies of upcoming opponents, delivering insights to the coaching team.
Produce specific analysis projects as and when required by the Head Coach and coaching team
