Overview


Ipswich Town Foundation is currently looking to recruit a coach for our U16 Girls Performance Squad.

The Performance Squads are our version of a club funded academy, training twice a week and competing in the Junior Premier League Warriors Premier Division on Saturdays.

We are seeking an experienced individual who has worked in a similar role previously to join our team who will be passionate about football and the development of players.

The successful candidate will support and develop all players within the group to attain the highest levels of performance possible in a safe, secure, and supportive environment. We are looking for an individual who is keen to develop as a coach and join a coaching team that fosters a supportive and open to learning environment.

We will look to you to be committed to the development of our elite players in the top tier of our girl's invitation only pathway, so we need an exceptional professional with a real passion and deep dedication to transforming futures.

This is a part time role requiring flexibility based on a 7-hour week based on but not limited to the below:

Tuesdays - 5.30pm-7pm - St Joseph's College

Fridays - 6pm-7.30pm - Ipswich Town Training Centre

Saturday - 4 hours time depends on kick-off times.

Responsibilities



Adhere to all policies and procedures including safeguarding, Health & Safety, Behaviour Management, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Data Protection, and Quality Assurance and follow all policies and procedures within the staff handbook. To follow and work by all procedures in accordance with the Ipswich Town Foundation and Ipswich Town Football Club. To maintain a professional attitude and appearance. Be an ambassador for the Ipswich Town Foundation. To report to your Line Manager and attend Ipswich Town Foundation staff meetings as requested. Any other duties deemed necessary by your Line Manager or a member of the SLT.

Role Specific Responsibilities



Maintain a flexible approach to provide high levels of engagement on the development programme. To enhance the technical and tactical development (individual and team) of the group relative to age and stage of ability. Plan, prepare, deliver, and evaluate football coaching sessions in line with the ITFC girls Development Pathway syllabus. Monitor and evaluate players' development and provide feedback to players via written report system. Plan, prepare and deliver high standard sessions to participants. Good role model to younger players
