Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching and management, with the ability to inspire and motivate individuals to achieve their personal best. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to fostering a positive environment, and the ability to develop tailored training programmes that meet the needs of diverse participants.

Duties

Develop and implement training sessions that enhance the skills and performance of our U23 and Professional Development Phase players. Provide constructive feedback and support to participants, helping them improve their technique and understanding of the sport. Organise and lead practice sessions, ensuring that all activities are safe, engaging, and beneficial for skill development. Monitor the progress of all our Academy Shadow Players, setting individual goals and tracking their achievements. Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among participants, promoting a positive culture within the group. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress, expectations, and any concerns. Stay updated on coaching techniques and strategies to continually enhance personal coaching skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience in coaching and management is essential. UEFA B Licence or working towards. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in planning and leading the whole of the Academy shadow. First aid certification is desirable but not essential; training may be provided. A commitment to ongoing professional development in coaching practices.
