We invite dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Support Workers in our 16+ semi-independent setting young people leaving care and UCAS. Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to young residents in their journey toward independence.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the well-being of residents.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of personalized support plans.
  • Mentor and guide residents in acquiring essential life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and job readiness.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Level 3 in Children and Young people\xe2\x80\x99s Workforce
  • Previous experience in a similar support role with Children and young people.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by young people transitioning to independence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic setting.

Experience:

Licence/Certification:
