Mission:
As a UAV Propulsion Engineer you'll be at the forefront of design, development and optimization of our propulsion systems to maximize endurance, reliability and performance.
What will be your responsibilities:
Design, analyze and optimize propulsion systems for UAS platforms.
Evaluate and integrate motors, propellers, powertrains and energy storage systems
Conduct performance modelling, thermal analysis and system-level studies to improve platform efficiency
Develop and execute test plans - from component level bench testing to validation
Work in a cross-functional team to ensure system integration
Contribute to the evolution of propulsion architectures that maximize endurance and payload efficiency
Profile and requirements:
Degree (BEng / MEng or higher) in Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
Strong understanding of Aerodynamics, Thermodynamics, Motor Design and Power Systems
Hands on experience with UAV / UAS Propulsion integration preferable (motor controllers, battery systems)
Proficiency with simulation and analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, ANSYS, Solidworks)
Collaborative and pragmatic approach willing to work in a cross-functional environment.
