Are you an experienced software/firmware developer who likes the early 'creativity' stage of software development, pushing new concepts and iterating quickly? If so, this new UAV Software Engineer Role is a perfect fit.
Role Description
Invergex is currently seeking a full-time Developer to join the team. This role would focus on the development of UAV flight control software and associated systems for autonomy.
The successful candidate would be focused on supporting the development of the flight control stack for a range of future fully autonomous sensor platforms. The day-to-day work would involve writing new modules, testing, modifying, and configuring the platforms (in both hardware and firmware).
The
UAV Software Engineer
would require close knowledge of trends in open source flight controller software technologies (PX4/Betaflight) written for low-power microprocessor targets. The UAV Software Engineer will also understand current trends in hardware-in-the-loop testing and fully synthetic testing solutions. The work will primarily be conducted in C/C#, with a knowledge of MAVLINK2 and ELRS being advantageous.
Working within the small, agile, start-up-style team, the successful candidate should be ready to assist others in different areas and support all the projects as the company grows. This opportunity allows you to join an exciting new company at the start of its growth and positively influence that growth.
