Job Description


Key Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Participate in an agile based software development life-cycle including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing and code reviews.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with the production support team for release and maintenance of the components.

\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the other developers in determining and following best development and architecture practice.

\xc2\xb7 Propose and provide feedback from experience/knowledge on architecture, design, technology choices and technology direction of the platform.

\xc2\xb7 Train and mentor less experienced participants through instruction, pair programming and code review.

\xc2\xb7 Fully participate in requirement and design meetings for new functionality.

\xc2\xb7 Develop reference implementations and documentation for platform features

\xc2\xb7 Moderate and review development contributions from the development community

Skills and Experience

\xc2\xb7 Software development experience in an enterprise environment

\xc2\xb7 Good development skills and experience with Javascript

\xc2\xb7 Good development skills and experience with Typescipt , CSS.

\xc2\xb7 Good development skills and experience with the common javascript libraries and other web technologies

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of programming best practices, design patterns etc.

\xc2\xb7 Strong interest in continuous improvement and all aspects of software development and delivery

\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of test driven development and continuous integration practices

\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of relational databases with appropriate SQL knowledge

\xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, inside and outside the team.

\xc2\xb7 Desire to learn quickly and ability to adapt to a fast changing environment.

\xc2\xb7 Strong problem solving skills.

\xc2\xb7 Comfortable dealing with numbers.

\xc2\xb7 Solid academic background in engineering, sciences or economics.

Desirable Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Experience working in an investment banking environment.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with real time messaging protocols.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with reactive extensions.

\xc2\xb7 Agile practitioner using Scrum.

\xc2\xb7 An ability to design performant software and an understanding of application performance profiling.
