Job Description

As a Mid-Level UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the design of our digital products. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and UX Research teams, you will apply your expertise to deliver high-quality designs across the entire UX process -- from ideation and wireframing to prototyping and high-fidelity design. Your work will directly impact the user experience and contribute to the success of our digital products.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with UX Research, stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to brainstorm and co-create ideas, solutions, and approaches. Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and the established Design System. Ensure designs follow UX best practices and are informed by research and usability testing. Challenge assumptions and encourage stakeholders to address root causes to achieve optimal user outcomes. Apply a positive and constructive approach when receiving and providing feedback. Deliver high-quality design assets to the engineering team with clear guidance to ensure accurate implementation. Provide ongoing support to engineering teams through regular UX review checkpoints to maintain design quality. Stay up to date with the latest UX trends, tools, and innovations. Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG). Manage timelines effectively, identify risks, and escalate where needed to ensure deliverables are met. Assist and mentor new UX team members as required. Contribute to the wider UX community of practice within the organisation.

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum of 5 years of UX Design experience in the industry. Proven experience on complex, enterprise-scale or consumer-focused design projects. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Creative flair with a keen eye for design aesthetics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in professional design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision. Experience working with Design Systems and maintaining consistency across products.
