Samsung Ads (part of ESBO - European Service Business Organization) is responsible for identifying, evaluating and determining new opportunities on top of the global footprint of European Samsung Smart TVs. The EU advertising team is working to bring value for partners, advertisers, and agencies through its unique insights into content consumption in the shifting media landscape.
Role and Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities
The Agency Sales Lead is responsible for evangelising the advanced TV advertising business and building the client base for the Samsung Ads European business. This person will build relationships with high-potential clients, presenting Samsung's pioneering marketing solutions to senior executives at major brands and their agencies.
The Agency Sales lead will be empowered to develop sales pipelines and to develop a strategy for long-term success by uncovering the business needs of key clients. This position will work closely with the account management team to help make a world class brand building solution for advertisers and to ensure our clients achieve their advertising goals.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and will have an entrepreneurial mind-set, taking ownership in creating opportunities.Initiate, structure and negotiate high impact partnerships with key UK agencies Build, prioritise, manage and communicate an active pipeline of brands Proven track record of exceeding sales targets as a trusted advisor through data driven approach. Leverage communication and relationship-building skills to develop new business. Educate new advertisers on the benefits of advanced TV and persuade them to shift their marketing strategies from traditional media to digital/advanced TV Analysis of Proprietary Samsung TV data to create compelling sales insights that drive revenue outcomes.

Your key people management responsibilitiesInitially you will be responsible for 1 sales specialist (exec). Support the development of your team through regular mentoring, coaching and feedback, 1:1s and on the job learning opportunities. Role model inclusion for your team to build trust and psychological safety. Ensure communication with your team is a core focus area including cascade of information from LT's and relevant business updates. Manage the on boarding, off boarding process and the entirety of the colleague lifecycle process for all team members. Manage all annual people management cycles such as goal setting, evaluation and salary reviews to a high quality and in a timely manner. To be accountable for ensuring your team are compliant with company processes and procedures; such as compliance, meeting mandatory business cyclical deadlines, and understanding the company values.

What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:Outstanding multi-tasking and teamwork capabilities Experience in full lifecycle sales at a media-owner, technology, or media-agency with experience in TV advertising, digital media, and advertising platforms. Experience building a book of business and managing against quotas. Understanding of digital media and the online advertising industry. Independent, self-starter; comfortable with ambiguity, and resilient. Thrives in a team environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to provide comprehensive advertising solutions to prospective clients.

What does success look like?
Given this is a sales role, ultimately success will be based on the ability to drive revenue for the business. In order to achieve success, the candidate will be expected to establish relationships with Agency buyers, planners, and evangelise about Samsung Ads to ensure there is a deeper understanding of our offering.
Initially success will be measured through an evaluation period within the first 4, 8 and 12 weeks. Your manager will arrange meetings to discuss performance and to ensure we are doing all that we can to support your progress. After this probationary period your manager we support you and agree key success achievements.
