is an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company for Oil, Gas, and Refineries and we are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee our growing team of Engineers in the UK.

You will be responsible for leading and guiding our engineering teams, overseeing projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of products or services. You will act as a bridge between technical expertise and business goals, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while fostering a positive and productive team environment.

You will also be involved in hiring, training, and developing engineers, as well as implementing and improving engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:



Team Leadership:



Supervising, mentoring, and developing engineering teams, fostering collaboration and a positive work environment.

Project Management:



Planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Technical Expertise:



Maintaining a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, providing technical guidance and support to the team.

Process Improvement:



Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.

Communication and Collaboration:



Effectively communicating project status, technical decisions, and team progress to various stakeholders, including management and other departments.

Budget Management:



Managing project budgets, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring cost-effective project execution.

Hiring and Training:



Participating in the hiring process, onboarding new team members, and providing ongoing training and development opportunities.

Problem Solving:



Identifying and resolving technical issues, conflicts, and other challenges that may arise within the team or project.

Quality Assurance:



Ensuring that projects adhere to quality standards and specifications.

Skills and Qualifications:



Strong Leadership and Management Skills:



Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of engineers effectively.

Technical Proficiency:



Deep understanding of engineering principles and practices, relevant to the specific industry or area of focus.

Project Management Skills:



Experience in planning, organizing, and executing projects, using project management methodologies and tools.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:



Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, management, and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:



Ability to analyse complex situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.

Organizational and Time Management Skills:



Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and organize work effectively.

Experience in relevant engineering field:



Relevant experience in an Oil and Gas Company.

Education:



A relevant degree in Engineering or a related field.

Suitable candidates should also have the following:



Demonstrable experience in offshore oil & gas or energy

Technical / Engineering background.

A team player, able to work closely with sales and operational departments

Candidates should be based locally to Leatherhead, Surrey and

must

be authorised to work in the UK

without

sponsorship.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 55,000.00-85,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
