We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UK Finance Controller to join our organisation in Slough, United Kingdom. As the UK Finance Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of our UK division, ensuring compliance with local regulations and driving financial performance.

  • Lead and manage the UK finance team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the UK division
  • Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to senior management for decision-making
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk for the UK operations
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies
  • Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial processes and reporting
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial systems
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and procedures
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial management roles, preferably in a multinational corporate environment
  • Advanced financial management and accounting skills
  • In-depth knowledge of UK financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards
  • Strong understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Experience in managing and developing high-performing finance teams
