SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Prepare and review monthly group consolidated accounts under FRS102 Prepare and review monthly accounts for Canadian entity Lead the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors Work closely with Group accounting department to ensure compliance with FRS 102 / US GAAP and assist with development of best practice accounting policies Oversee inventory management process for UK Group Oversee key monthly accounting reconciliations Provide support on revenue recognition Support budgeting and forecasting processes across group entities Analyse financial performance and provide variance analysis Assist in the implementation of financial controls and process improvements Monitor and interpret changes in accounting standards and regulations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of this job.Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years PQE. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and US GAAP (desirable) Proven experience in a senior leadership role Track record of improving processes and developing teams Ability to meet strict reporting deadlines and month end commitments. Desirable - Experience with SAP business by design
