About the Role





As the UK & Ireland Sales Manager for ETERNA UK (Folding Carton), you'll drive growth, shape customer experiences, and represent a globally respected brand with cutting-edge technology. You'll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to unlock new possibilities in packaging performance, sustainability, and design.



What You'll Do





Market Insight: Monitor the cartonboard market across the UK & Ireland, identifying trends, opportunities, and emerging customer needs.



Sales Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to shape sales strategies and set ambitious, achievable targets.



Competitive Intelligence: Track competitor activity, anticipate market shifts, and recommend proactive actions to stay ahead.



Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams -- including Customer Service and Technical Support -- to ensure seamless customer experiences.



Business Development: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, from entrepreneurs to senior managers, to grow our market presence.

Essential





Previous experience in a sales or sales support role within industrial or graphic sectors.



Technical background relevant to machinery or production



Resident of the UK or Ireland



Desirable





Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BEng)



Based in the Midlands, UK

Functional Skills





Proven sales experience in industrial production or the graphics/packaging sector



Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering results



Solid technical understanding of machinery or production environments



Ability to travel extensively across the UK & Ireland (approx. 80% of the time, short trips)



Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
