Job Description

The UK Security Administrator will report to the UK Security Controller. They will also work closely with the Security and Vetting Officer.


General Responsibilities


Responsible for security administration support to various public sector and commercial teams. Handling of security clearances and any associated ongoing maintenance. Continuous interface with corporate approvers Liaison with Oracle personnel on matters pertaining to behavioural and personnel security related risk management. Close liaison with government departments and agencies who provide sponsorship for individual applications. Coordination and support (including minute writing) for related meetings and conferences.
Security Functions


Draft, submit and track clearance applications. Coordinate verification and transmission of clearances for related meetings and conferences. Carry out identity checks on Oracle personnel (this may require travel to other sites in the UK). Travel to related UK Government sites to carry out vetting related administrative tasks. Advise the Business on all aspects of clearance, including appropriate documents to use. Assist the Security and Vetting Officer in coordination and preparation for the quarterly Vetting Board meetings. Maintain liaison with designated Lines of Business points of contact in relation to clearance matters. Respond to ad hoc queries, providing appropriate solutions. Identify, analyse, and evaluate risks relating to personnel security. Work closely with other security professionals throughout Oracle. Ensure compliance with Oracle business practices, policies, and procedures. Action and respond to access entitlement requests as applicable. Assist the Security Controller Team in the development and production of training and briefing material. Coordinate and administer the delivery of training and briefing material via Webinars and Oracle Learning Act as Facility Administrator for FSC Facility, this includes (but is not limited to): + Escort non-authorised personnel.
+ Maintain Registry.
+ Issue receive and muster registered information assets.
+ Respond to incidents as required.
+ Oversee destruction of information assets.
+ Accept and process deliveries to the FSC Facility.
+ Process incoming and outgoing mail (physical and electronic).
Work with the Security & Vetting Officer to maintain the standalone imaging system and ensure that it remains up to date with the latest patches, etc. Assist the Security & Vetting Officer in gathering metrics and coordinating the annual IPSA dashboard submission.
