We are seeking a highly experienced Assistant Manager for Statutory Accounts Compliance to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing statutory accounts data and compliance processes have the opportunity to develop their AI skills by leveraging technology and AI to optimise and run these processes. We are focussed on providing advice to CEOs and CFOs and that provides an opportunity for standout out advisers to make a real difference for clients. Responsibilities
The preparation of entity statutory financial statements (including ETB preparation, GAAP to stat etc.), supported by AI and technology, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Support the development and implementation of strategies to optimise statutory accounts compliance processes using technology and AI.
Collaborate with the Senior Manager and Tax Compliance Leader to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Provide advice and guidance on statutory accounts compliance matters to other departments.
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and ensure the company's compliance practices are aligned with these changes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A professional Certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in statutory accounts preparation.
Additional experience in international statutory accounts preparation or IFRS conversion is of benefit.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102 accounting standards and regulations.
Experience with technology and AI in statutory accounts compliance processes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
