The Wonderfield Group has recently been purchased by Zensho Holdings, the leading food service company in Japan with a market cap of $5.5b and whose aim is to become the worlds largest food company, a position from which we can eradicate hunger and poverty from around the globe. We operate restaurants, factories, and thousands of sushi kiosks and have recently built a successful cut fruit business, Snowfruit. Combining this with the three businesses previously owned by Zensho, AFC, Sushi Circle and Sushi Take, results in annual sales of $2.5b and Ebitda in excess of $140m a year with an ambitious growth trajectory.


Completion of post-secondary education in an environment or sustainability discipline or related experience

Entry level position with 1-3 years experience in a sustainability role Knowledge of environmental, social and governance issues combined with the capabilities to interpret these issues for Snowfox Group's business environment Database management experience would be an asset, ability to review multiple data sets and collate, tabulate, and analyze and interpret results. Previous experience in the Food and Beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industries would be an asset. Energetic, resourceful, hands-on individual with a strong bias for proactive action and customer service Strong ethics - a personal reputation for integrity and "above-reproach" ethics Excellent support planning, organizational, problem solving and project management skills Superb time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Reporting to the Group Chief Development Officer , the UK Sustainability Manager will assist in leading Wonderfields Group's sustainability initiatives within the UK for the YO! and Taiko Food brands. You will be an integral part in the evolution of the ESG strategies in this newly created role. This hybrid position based in the Greater London area, will see you working directly with the internal brand teams and external stakeholders in developing, supporting, and implementing the sustainability policy in the focus areas of: Responsible Sourcing | Plastics, Paper & Packaging |Food Waste Reduction |Green House Gas Emissions & Energy Use
