About the Role
We're looking for a Ultrafast Manufacturing Specialist to join our high-performing team in Stockport. This is a hands-on, technical role focused on the manufacture, service, and installation of custom ultrafast laser products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our cutting-edge laser systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble ultrafast laser products following detailed processes:
+ Chassis pre-build
+ Cleaning and optics assembly
+ Optical alignment and testing
+ Final assembly and product testing
Troubleshoot and resolve lab issues in collaboration with technical teams
Service returned lasers, identify root causes, and document repairs
Write and update work instructions
Act as a technical expert for ultrafast laser products
Support new product introduction and prototype builds
Participate in onsite installations and customer support
What We're Looking ForDegree in Science or Engineering
Understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
Experience with ultrafast lasers (desirable)
Background in high-tech industries (desirable)
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Electronics knowledge and hands-on technical ability
Organised, adaptable, and eager to learn

Travel: Occasional UK and international travel for installations and troubleshooting
