The Medway School of Pharmacy are looking for an organised and driven individual to undertake the 2 year fixed role as Undergraduate Placements Manager. As Placements Lead you will have a background in Clinical and Pharmacy Practice and you will contribute extensively to the design of the MPharm programme in the areas of clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice, providing integration with the fundamental science and practice-based knowledge base of pharmacy and interprofessional learning (IPE), linking this to placement experience.
The primary function of this role is to develop the Medway School of Pharmacy provision of placements within the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) course, along with the provision of support for foundation year MPharm graduates (viewing this as a 5-year curriculum).
The role holder is expected to work closely with relevant staff in the Medway School of Pharmacy, with university placement structures, the NHS, voluntary sector, Kent Local Pharmacy Committee and a wide range of placement providers. The role holder will have a high level of autonomy.
