We're seeking a confident and commercially minded Underwriter to take a lead role in assessing risk, supporting product development, and building broker relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative, forward-thinking team where your contribution will make a real impact.

What you'll be doing:

Underwriting new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments across property owners and package products Applying sound judgement to assess risk, review claims history, and make informed decisions Supporting the development and refinement of underwriting guidelines and product offerings Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers to drive profitable growth Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards Acting as a technical referral point within the team

What we're looking for:

Underwriting experience in property owners, household, or commercial package insurance Analytical and decision-making skills with a commercial mindset Acturis experience is highly desirable Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a commitment to high standards Familiarity with insurance systems and Microsoft Office tools
