Underwriting Assistant

to join our dynamic team.





As an Underwriting Assistant for our

Financial Lines

and

Cyber

underwriting teams, you will provide support in the assessment, processing, and administration of insurance products, including but not limited to Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Cyber Insurance. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and strong communication skills are key..

WHAT YOU WILL DO



Assist underwriters in the assessment and processing of new and renewal business for financial lines products including D&O liability, E&O liability, Cyber Liability, and EPL. Prepare and review policy documentation, endorsements, and schedules to ensure accuracy. Monitor and track submission statuses, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups with brokers and clients. Maintain up-to-date records in underwriting systems and databases. Provide administrative support with quotes, proposals, and risk assessments. Liaise with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to gather necessary information. Assist with the preparation of reports and underwriting files for internal and regulatory purposes. Support the team with any ad hoc tasks as needed. Review and analyze underwriting data, market trends, and industry developments to identify emerging risks and opportunities.

Requirements



WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:



Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate underwriting data effectively. Previous experience in an underwriting assistant or similar role within insurance is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with brokers, clients, and team members. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and underwriting software. High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A team player with a proactive, positive attitude an willingness to learn.
