Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced

University Preparation Tutor

with a background in

Veterinary Medicine

and

experience in university admissions

. This role involves helping students prepare for

Veterinary Medicine university interviews

, including mock interviews, strategic coaching, and insight into the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct tailored mock interviews for students applying to Veterinary Medicine programs (e.g. Oxbridge, RVC, Edinburgh, etc.) Provide detailed, constructive feedback and guidance for improvement Share insider knowledge of the university admissions process, including selection criteria and expectations Help students develop strong communication skills, ethical reasoning, and confidence in speaking about their motivations and work experience Offer strategic tips for interview performance, personal statements, and course expectations

Requirements:

Degree in

Veterinary Medicine

from a recognised university

Previous experience working in a university admissions role

(e.g. admissions tutor, panel interviewer, or administrative capacity) Familiarity with the MMI (Multiple Mini Interview) format and panel-style interviews Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills Passion for supporting and mentoring aspiring veterinary students Ability to commit to flexible online tutoring hours

Preferred:

Alumni of top UK universities (e.g. Cambridge, Oxford, RVC, Edinburgh) Experience tutoring or mentoring students for university admissions
