About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is new to early years education and wants to begin a rewarding career working with young children.
You'll work alongside qualified practitioners to:
Support the delivery of play-based learning experiences.
Help provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and outdoor play.
Promote the welfare and wellbeing of all children in your care, in line with
safeguarding
and
EYFS
requirements.
Training and mentoring will be provided, with opportunities to complete a
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification
or apprenticeship if desired.
About You
You don't need formal childcare qualifications - just the right attitude and willingness to learn. We're looking for someone who:
Has a genuine love of working with children aged 0-5.
Is kind, patient, and eager to support children's learning and development.
Works well in a team and communicates positively with families.
Understands (or is willing to learn about) the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.
A basic understanding of
child development

health and safety
, or
inclusive practice
is an advantage, but full induction training will be given.
