We are looking for a passionate and flexible Spanish General Cover Teacher / Supervisor to join an outstanding secondary school in Watford, Hertfordshire. The Role:
Teaching Spanish across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering dynamic and interactive language lessons aligned with the national curriculum and GCSE requirements.
Providing general cover across a range of subjects where required, maintaining continuity of learning and managing classroom behaviour effectively.
Supporting the wider school community through pastoral care, departmental collaboration, and extra-curricular involvement where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be a graduate or have a specialism in Spanish or Modern Foreign Languages (MFL).
Have experience teaching Spanish at the secondary level, including preparation for GCSE exams.
Be confident covering lessons across a variety of subjects, with a flexible and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
Be willing to complete (or already hold) an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
