Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Production Associate. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will utilise your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to contribute to the assembly and fabrication of products. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate within a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain various hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks. Cut, sew, and attach fabric or leather coverings to furniture pieces.Fabricate custom upholstery solutions based on client specifications or design requirements. Perform repairs on damaged upholstery, ensuring quality standards are met. Maintain a clean and organised workspace within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Conduct regular maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. Assemble components accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials during production activities.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience in sewing and fabrication techniques is advantageous. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with logistics processes. Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks, ensuring physical fitness for the role. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring precision in assembly work. Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated. Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
