Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Production Operative to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn various aspects of Upholstery / Upholstery preparation. This role involves the preparation and final completion of quality upholstered sofas and chairs whilst ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards. (Training will be given to suitable candidates.)

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain production equipment, including pneumatic staple guns. Perform preparation tasks for various products, ensuring accuracy and quality in furniture construction and fabrication. Utilize hand tools during the manufacturing process. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as needed throughout the production area. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Experience

Proven experience in manufacturing or production environments is preferred. Ability to work with various tools, hand tools, and power tools. Previous experience in furniture processes is desirable.
