Uplift Driver
Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Uplift Driver. Our team of drivers are integral to the smooth running of the bike park and contributes towards providing a fun and professional environment.
You will be responsible for driving our riders from the uplift queue at the bottom of the bike park to the start ramp at the summit. Reliability and adaptability are vital skills for this role, combined with great interpersonal and communication skills. An awareness of the safety and the wellbeing of riders is crucial. You will also support and encourage other team members.
Responsibilities
- Transport riders to the summit of the Bike Park
- Ensure your Land Rover and trailer are in full working order at the beginning of each shift by completing the Check Form
- Report any vehicular mechanical issues to the Dyfi Bike Park Driving Supervisor
- Assist customers with putting bikes onto the trailer, ensuring bikes are securely fixed.
- Drive responsibly adhering to the speed limit and ensuring the safety of both bikes and riders.
- Deliver a great service and engage with all Bike Park visitors
Requirements
- Good knowledge and interest in Dyfi Bike Park, ideally a rider yourself
- Able to provide good face-to-face customer service
- Confident driver with Full UK Driving Licence
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Pay: 91.52 per day
Pay: Up to 91.57 per day
