Overview

Due to high demand we are seeking an experienced UPVC Window Fabricator to join our factory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabricating windows and doors. You need to be a self starter with all the skills and experience to hit the ground running and add capacity to produce more frames - to a high standard - in the run up to Christmas.

This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality UPVC windows that meet industry standards.

Whilst this is a Fixed Term Contract to the Christmas holidays, if demand continues in the new year we will look to make a permanent appointment. This is therefore a chance to make an impression.

Responsibilities

Fabricate UPVC windows, doors and french doors according to specifications and technical drawings. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as routers, saws and butt welders. Assemble window & door components and ensure proper fitting and functionality. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.

Experience

Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is essential. We are not hiring a trainee at this stage. Experience operating heavy machinery. Proficient in reading technical drawings.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1.4 month

Pay: From 13.75 per hour

Expected hours: 39.5 per week
