Are you highly motivated, passionate, and committed? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to become a part of an expansive Urgent Care team.

This large, well-established hospital group are searching for an Urgent Care Practitioner support their three emergency departments within Leeds. These NHS hospitals pride themselves on providing professional and excellent NHS care throughout their Urgent Care departments, continuing to better their patient and employee experiences.

As a successful Urgent Care Practitioner for this role, you should be able to demonstrate expertise and competencies in the assessment and management of patients of all ages that are presenting with minor illness and injury across the three sites. You will be the managing diagnosis and treatment of patients and providing the right management. You will be working in conjunction with the Operations Manager regarding the clinical management of patients with urgent care needs. In order to fulfil this position, the successful candidate should have autonomous practice experience that is supported by a Level 7 Minor Illness or Injury qualification and a non-medical prescribing qualification.

Requirements

• Registered with relevant professional body (NMC, HCPC, GPhC) Degree-level qualification or equivalent post graduate modules.
• Practice experience supported with a Level 7 Minor Illness or Injury qualification.
• Non-medical prescribing qualification.
• Life Support Qualifications.
• Post registration experience in an acute or urgent care setting.
• Experience of managing and treating minor illness in an acute or urgent setting.

Location

The hospitals are located in Leeds, commutable from Harrogate, Huddersfield, Bradford and Castleford.
