Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient FLT Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to the loading, unloading, and management of materials. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Manage materials within the warehouse, including sorting, storing, and retrieving items as needed. Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels. Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance as required to ensure operational efficiency. Conduct shipping and receiving processes, verifying that all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as necessary, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
Forklift certification is desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
