The GCR US Tax team based in London is a high performing team focused on building exceptional US tax careers for our people in an international setting, acting as a trusted US tax advisor to our clients to deliver bespoke and high-quality US tax services in the asset management industry.





Programme overview





Tax affects every aspect of our lives and laws are always changing. We help clients across the UK and Europe operating in the asset management industry with their US tax reporting, helping them to comply with tax laws and to navigate issues through strategic solutions. You'll work closely with colleagues and clients across borders, using EY tools and networks to solve complex business and tax problems. By combining the power of the tax experience at EY with innovative technology, you can help us transform the tax function of the future. The Programme aims to provide graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in US taxation with an opportunity to take up a structured career path with technical trainings, facilitated certification processes, and exposure to international and cross-border working and networking experiences. At the end of the programme, graduates will become an experienced and trusted US tax advisor licensed to practice US tax worldwide.



What you will be doing



Specialising in a US Tax role, working with a wide variety of Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Real Estate Fund, and Credit Fund clients based across the UK and Europe.


You will have the opportunity to rotate through the different areas of our business, allowing you to deepen your understanding, build expertise and ultimately specialise in an area of your choosing, subject to business needs.


You will gain practical experience through on-the-job learning and exposure to complex client work, working alongside our 60+ US tax professionals based in the London office and additional supports from other EY offices in Argentina, France, India, the UK and the US.


You will receive regular training and mentoring as part of your structured studies as well as internal trainings.
